Martin Clough MCIT MILT

Martin Clough is an independent air transport consultant who has undertaken commissions for several airlines, airports, other consultants and local authorities. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Transport in the UK and specialises in market analysis and forecasting, route and aircraft evaluation, economic and financial feasibility studies and has extensive operational and analytical experience in the air transport industry, both in airline management and as a consultant.

Before becoming a consultant he was Managing Director of Jersey European Airways (now British European/flybe), then a regional scheduled carrier. Prior to that, over a period of many years he held various airline management positions with other UK based airlines including that of General Manager with responsibility for planning and commercial affairs. During this time, he became a recognised specialist in traffic forecasting, aircraft and route evaluation, scheduling, resource allocation, product planning, pricing, regulatory and government affairs.

As a consultant since 1989 he has undertaken assignments in the UK, Europe and other parts of the world for a significant number of airlines, airports and local authorities in the following fields:
